Women's & Men's Health
My interest in food and wellness has been lifelong but took on new meaning once I left a career in financial services on Wall Street and began raising my family. I returned to school to expand my expertise and to start the Nutrition Kitchen, dedicated to optimizing the health and lifestyles of my clients. My work revolves around the belief that nutrition and lifestyle choices serve as the foundation for a healthy and high quality life and that the connection between mind, body, and life can be strengthened.
I have been sharing my nutrition and lifestyle knowledge for over 15 years in private practice, through corporate seminars, and with my educational outreach and presentation work with medical doctors and other health practitioners while working for a professional supplement company.
My education includes a M.S. in Clinical Nutrition from the University of Bridgeport, an M.B.A. in Finance and Accounting from the University of Connecticut and a B.A. in Biology and Chemistry from Wheaton College. I have taken coursework at the Benson-Henry Institute for Mind Body Medicine at the Mass General Hospital in affiliation with Harvard Medical School.
When I am not in the Nutrition Kitchen or giving a corporate seminar, I am racing on sailboats, paddle boarding, hiking, biking, or playing with Lola, my cockapoo. I also practice yoga and mindfulness for balance. Healthy food fuels it all!
